Supercritical CO2 extraction （SFE-CO2）is a low-temperature process, and the solvents are easily removed. Due to the high solvation power of Supercritical CO2 and the mild conditions in the extraction, the fragrant compounds derived often closely resemble the original aroma of the raw materials. Xumei, the pioneer in the SFE-CO2 of aromatic compounds from tea and its commercial production in China, has gained wide acceptance in food industry. Currently, Xumei has large equipment for SFE-CO2 of 500L*3 and 700L*3.
